You are invited to submit an article to the "Fiber Bioengineering and Informatics (JFBI)," which aims to provide a rapid forum for the dissemination of original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of fiber bioengineering, including Nanotechnology, Textile technology, Clothing technology, Clothing physiology, CAD technology and informatics.
The JFBI welcomes regular articles, communications, notes, and reviews. Articles should be comprehensive reports of significant results or conclusions. Communications should be preliminary reports of unusual urgency, significance and interest. A more complete article may be published at a later date. A note deals with a limited subject that requires no further elaboration in the future. Reviews should be short, critical surveys of progress in specific fields of Textile Bioengineering and Information research during the previous 5-10 years and should contain new and important information on the subject. The length of both communications and notes should be less than 2000 words. Manuscripts are usually submitted to at least two experts for comments. Authors are invited to recommend reviewers.
Preparation of Manuscripts Manuscripts must be typewritten (or reproduced on a high-quality printer) on 22x28cm or A4 paper, one side only, with adequate margins. The entire manuscript (including abstract, references, tables, and figure legends) should be double-spaced. All pages should be numbered consecutively. References, tables, figure captions, schemes, and figures should be placed in that order, at the end of the paper. Tables, charts, and schemes should be numbered with Arabic numerals. Original drawings and photographs should be attached to the end of one copy and authors should indicate by text or marginal notations in the typescript where the figures are to be inserted. It is the responsibility of authors to ensure the accuracy of references. References to the paper should be numbered in one consecutive series. References should be typed in the format specified by Journal of TBIS and cited in the text by numbers in square brackets. Details of the format can be found in Author Instructions.
Authors should write in clear, concise English. The name of the author to whom enquiries about the paper may be addressed should be marked with an asterisk. Running heads (less than 50 letters) should be placed between the title of the paper and the abstract. An abstract should be provided for all articles, communications, notes, and reviews. Abstracts should explain briefly the reason for the work, the significant results, and conclusions. Five keywords should be listed after the abstract. The experimental section should provide a clear, unambiguous description of materials, methods, and equipments in sufficient details to permit repetition of the work elsewhere. JFBI will be published using an open access publication model, meaning that all interested readers will be able to freely access the journal online without any need for a subscription. The journal has a distinguished editorial board with extensive academic qualifications, ensuring that the journal will maintain high academic standards and have a broad international coverage. The full list of editors and International Editorial Board can be found on the journal's website at http://www.jfbi.org. Manuscripts should be submitted to the journal online at http://www.jfbi.org. Once a manuscript has been accepted for publication, it will undergo language copyediting, typesetting, and reference validation in order to provide the highest publication quality possible. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about the journal. |
